This privacy policy explains how Chirurgenkurs processes account, learning, payment, technical, and analytics data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

What we process

Depending on how you use the service, this can include account details, learning progress, support messages, payment confirmations, technical logs, IP addresses, authenticated session identifiers, and public-site analytics data. Account, learning, and platform data is stored on Replit infrastructure in the United States. For paid-content access, IP addresses and session identifiers are transformed into pseudonymized fingerprints used to detect simultaneous account use. Active-session fingerprints are normally retained for no more than 24 hours; suspension and legal-acceptance records may be retained longer where needed to investigate misuse, document consent, or resolve a dispute. Clerk handles authentication, Stripe handles payments, Replit provides hosting and infrastructure, and Resend delivers security notifications.
